By the window

This week is going to be a little crazy. I have lots to finish and I don't know where to start. Also mostly I work from home and schedule my meetings post lunch once my mother is back from work and can look after my little one. And that is usually for 3-4 hours max. This week I am going to be out for 12 hours at a stretch, three days in a row and so though the professional-me is all excited about the opportunity, the mother-me...well lets not talk about that. Phew.

This is when she is going to be with her grandmom & dad ( they are both going to be working from home for my sake...such sweethearts) while I am away.

But today, I just want to squeeze her tight and sit by this lovely window with her books & mine. And spend the entire evening drinking hot chocolate  & lighting tealights in this to-die-for white lantern.

I could never live away from my Mum. I used to howl. Have a good one and come back soon.

I can understand. Crazy week for me too. I wish I can take off and just spend time with my little one.

I wish I had a reading nook like that.

I hope everything returns to normal at your home, I miss my daughter even when she's only gone to school.

Thats tough, being away from your little one, but you are lucky that her grandma and dad can be home. Don't worry about her, she will be fine, and come back and make up for it...!

What a Cosy lovely space you made for both of you. The best gift we can give the kids is the garndparents. Imagine all those stories from the epics transferred from genaration to generation. I cherish my time with my grand dad and is one of the main reasons I jet land in India. Common' cheer up she is going to be fine :-).
