Casual settings

It has been raining continuously for over two months now and September has been particularly rain-crazy. But this morning when I went out to pick up the newspaper the sky looked a teeny bit clear, the cool breeze just fantastic, the greens looked so fresh and the lil birdies were singing their heart out.

Perfect for a casual breakfast or brunch I thought. This being a working day I will have to wait till the weekend for my wishes to come true. But remember I have a blog. That gives me the license to dream & put lovely pictures together so that I can ooh-aah just sitting behind my laptop.

Enjoy these casual tablescapes....

Love all the pattern mix & match in this one, those white lanterns are to die-for & that pale clue ceramic jug ...awww!

I think I may have picked up this setting for it so reminds me of my teacup fetish. Flowery table runner, stacks of china, a bloom sitting pretty in the teacup, all that yummy food...I would be ready at five in the morning for a breakfast like this!

Loving the idea of not ironing those linen napkins against the formal flatware & stemware. Early morning romantic breakfast for two..hmm!

I have no idea why but this picture is taking me all the way to my grandmom's house...perhaps the old world charm of the wooden handles on the cutlery, printed plates, all those greens in terracotta pots, the almost plastic looking yet sweet tablemats...

Which one is your fav? Do you like to have have breakfasts & brunches like these out in the open or are you more of a lunch/ dinner person? Share with me how you would set up your table for a  casual brunch...

lovely images. Loved the last 'green' one best! I have a lovely sunny balcony and this post makes me want to set up an all season dining table there!
