What was the hurry?

Alright, so this morning my lil girl decided that she had been little for too long & it was time that she told her mom that she was a big girl.

And so she went to playschool.

Boy! What a morning it was. She decided to be really cranky this morning. Like "I will not get off your lap mommy" cranky. Somehow I managed to get both of us ready and guess what! Someone really sweet had locked us from outside! YES! After frantic calls to non-working neighbors to let us out & running on the road with a not-yet-two year old, her winterwear that weighs more than her & her two ton bag we reached playschool.

Once there Missie decided that she had had enough of her mom and was found playing with her new "mam", saying "hi baby" to all the children who were way older than her & sitting on the "choo-choo" train. Did I mention that she wasn't really interested in walking back home?

That was Day one at school. One day over. Only about 20-25 years left.

But really what was the hurry I ask? Did you have to grow up so soon?

Love,
Mom.

Awwwwwww. Did you leave right away or linger outside? Not ashamed to admit that I cried like a baby, sitting outside in the car(parked right in front of the school where every other parent could see me!!!) that first day. :(

Like, really what's the hurry?? Also, as a rule I think a Masi should be allowed to join the school with her niece! Please request her Ma'am not to teach her the correct words and pronunciations for tomato, butterfly,etc... rather teach the rest of the class tompinini,bufferfly...
Love,
Masi

Thanks for all the comments...It was day one so she was there only for an hour with me. Today she was there alone for about 1.5 hours. They will slowly increase it to three hours a day.Though my heart was really beating fast sitting all alone at the reception, I was happy to see that she enjoyed being there & didn't miss me :(

Awwwwwwww, P. Love your little girl's adorable picture. I guess your Mum must have felt the same when you took your first steps. Your girl will make you proud soon, just the way you have.
