A perfect weekend!

The last two weeks were really hectic. So much so that I didn't even have any time to play with the lil one and was sleeping three hours a night. So this weekend I finally decided its time to take a break. And really what a perfect weekend it turned out to be!

mmmm....I finally had the luxury of waking up late and spent the entire morning in bed! Lucky me!

One of my favorite things to do is to open my cookery books and read them...yes just like a story book. And this weekend I spent an entire afternoon with them. And just like that I felt completely recharged!

I lurve to cook and had not been finding much time to do it lately. Starting Friday evening I was a woman on mission to feed :) What fun!

Spent some girlie time with my little sis! We always have so much fun together. And lately our schedules were not even allowing us to catch up with eachother over phone.

Invited a dear friend, her husband & her adorable son (I could eat him up, I swear) for dinner! And I made sizzlers and a chocolate peach pudding that she had been asking me for, for a very long time now.

And most importantly, spent lots and lots of strictly "family time" with my DH & the little apple. Waiting eagerly for another beautiful weekend!

So what is your ideal weekend like? What are the things that you love to do over the weekend, I'd be so happy to hear from you, so leave me a comment (Cleaning & decluttering are a part of it, ALL  of us understand that :)

Gosh you did wayyy too much for a relaxing weekend:) loved the pics! glad you found time to relax, recharge and rejuvenate!

We too had a quiet, family time weekend. We kept it totally free for ourselves, knowing that it was the last weekend in the rented apartment that was home to us for more than 3 years...we sat, ate, reminisced and hoped we wouldn't miss this place too much!
