Hot summers and cork planters.

We are getting roasted in our part of the world and eagerly waiting for the rainy season that is light years away. And my plants are having a tough time in this heat. But not these ones:)
I came across this awesome idea hereMagnetic cork planters with teeny tiny succulents. Pretty on a fridge:)

Bring out those vases

It's that time of the year when your home should be full of fresh flowers. The weather is just right and festivals are just around the corner. I like to have flowers in my home all year round and always buy a bunch every weekend. It just makes me feel so happy. Not always does one have a lot of time on hand to create elborate floral arrangements and plusometimes the "casual" bunch looks better than a made up one. What do you think?

I love to use whatever I have around the home and use them as vases. Infact I don't like proper "vases" and prefer the hundreds of other things that I have to make up for vases.

Here are some pictures to inspire you.

Teacups & kettles.

I quite like the idea of using teacups & kettles. They look adorable, don't they?

All those milk bottles & egg cartons.

Its always great to reuse and recycle. And several tiny bunches grouped together always make a statement and make it look all the more festive. What do you think?

Did you get some ideas to dress up your home?
Tomorrow I will share with you some pictures from my home...tons of floral pictures :)

Garden inside my home

We have all used kitchen canisters, Empty glass jars, Pretty Coffee tins...to grow plants indoors.

Now how about using those dainty teacups to hold your delicate plants

And how about growing greens inside an old toaster!!! Oh how I am loving this idea!
